Lisa Braathen:

Lisa Braathen was born February 15, 1999 in Oslo, Norway. She holds an MFA from Film Scoring Academy of Europe as of 2023, and a BA in Composition and Music Performance from The Grieg Academy. Lisa started composing and improvising at the piano in early childhood, and has since developed a passionate love for both orchestral and electronic music composition for film and visual media.

Adam Mathieson:

Adam Mathieson was born on November 24, 1997 in Paisley, UK. He holds a Bachelor of Music (Hons) degree in Composition from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Film & Game Scoring from the Film Scoring Academy of Europe. Adam has also attained an MFA from the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, as of 2023. Adam began composing Scottish folk-tunes at the piano, but his love of cinema and games pushed him into scoring for a wide variety of visual media.

Between us, as composers with years of experience, we have had the pleasure of scoring multiple award-winning short films, theatre productions, and composing additional music for feature films. A fuller list of our credits can be found on our respective IMDb pages.

Our creative partnership began during our Master of Fine Arts studies at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, (listed as #11 in the Hollywood Reporter's "World's Top 20 Music Schools"), from where we both graduated in November 2023.
